Plot Twistنموونە

"I hope I make the A-team."
"I hope I get a better grade on my science test."
"I hope my grandmother makes it through the surgery."
There are a lot of things we can hope for. We can hope that the person in front of us at Starbucks pays for our drink, or it can be more serious — like hoping a friend's cancer diagnosis isn't going to be terminal. Hope can be as simple as throwing a penny in a wishing well and hoping that wish comes true. But it can also be bigger than that.
Hope is a gift given to us by Jesus. To find hope means that no matter what happens, no matter how a situation turns out, we believe we're going to be okay because Jesus will be with us. Because of Jesus, we can have hope in the midst of uncertainty.
Where are you putting your hope? What would it look like for you to put your hope in Jesus?

Whether it’s your favorite movie, book, or reality show, you know there's nothing like a good plot twist! A plot twist can make us rethink everything we thought we knew about the story. In this 30-day devotional series from Grow Curriculum, designed for Lent we’ll focus on how Jesus experienced “life-plot twists” and how he is with us when we go through unexpected moments in our life.
