God at the Centre of Your Marriageنموونە

COUPLES MUST MEET IN GOD
This must be the goal of every couple, that is, to meet in God. When couples try to move towards each other, the best they can have is a union but not unity. The intention of God for your marriage is for Him to be the third entity, a marriage in which the husband goes towards God, and the wife goes towards God, and then you both meet in God. The closer both of you are to God the stronger your marriage becomes. When couples individually move towards God and meet in God at the apex of the triangle, no power of man can separate what holds them together, what God has joined together let no man put asunder. So, it is wisdom for couples to make this choice.
You might have observed some individuals, relatives, friends, or even your parents that are not born again who have better marriages than believers and you wonder why? It is because the two parties involved have found a meeting point somewhere. For some, it is in their business or career while for others it is one uncle or one person in the family that is the third party that keeps them together. However, this is not a safe triangle even though both of them have found an arrangement that is working for them.
When you find Christian couples that are having quarrels, strife and tension at home, it is the distance that each of them is to God that is creating the problem. Most of the challenges you have will be solved if both of you are close to God. Husband and wife must both work on getting closer to God.
PRAYER: Lord, help my marriage to meet in you in Jesus’ name. Amen!
