But this is easier said than done, especially when we're in the midst of challenging circumstances. So how can we apply this passage to our lives?

Practical application: One way to apply this passage to our lives is to develop a habit of gratitude. Start each day by listing three things you're grateful for, and whenever you start to feel anxious or overwhelmed, pause and make a mental note of something positive in your life. Additionally, when you pray, try to spend some time expressing your gratitude to God for the blessings in your life.

Prayer request: Pray for a hunger and thirst for God's Word among believers in Ukraine, so that they would delight in His commands and meditate on His precepts. Pray for peace to prevail in Ukraine, and for an end to the violence and conflict that has caused so much suffering and loss.

Heavenly Father, we pray for our brothers and sisters in Ukraine. We ask that You would give them a hunger and thirst for Your Word and that they would delight in Your commands and meditate on Your precepts. May Your Word be a lamp to their feet and a light to their path. Help them to hide Your Word in their hearts so that they might not sin against You. Strengthen their faith and increase their understanding of who You are. In Jesus' name, we pray, amen.
