Hi there! Maybe you know me, maybe you don’t. My name is Daryl, Daryl Jay Kyle. I am a music artist from The Netherlands and I produce my own self-written songs.

My songs might not sound christian right away, but if you listen very carefully to the lyrics, there will always be a reference to faith or to God. It has to do with my source of inspiration: a life together with God. This is the core of what faith means to me. Have you ever written down what faith means to you?

Although music and worship are a big part of my life, this reading plan won’t be about this. Who knows my next one might be. This reading plan is written, based on my very first sermon I gave in the church that I grew up in and made the decision to live life together with God. I believe through this reading plan, this particular sermon will inspire more people like you.

Maybe you were raised with God as I was, or perhaps it is all new to you. Whatever place you are in your spiritual journey: I hope this reading plan may inspire you and motivate you to discover your divine assignment. That might sound big, but it doesn't have to be! We will discover this together through the birth of a famous person in the Bible. More about that later.

For today, I would like to inspire you with another piece of scripture that inspired me in my youth. You can read it in the Bible, 1st Timothy chapter 4. It urges me every day to set an example in what I say [word], in the way I live [walk], my love (towards others), my faith and purity.

I’d like to call them: My Big Five 🐘. In which of these may you grow today? I would like to inspire you to choose one of these and to be more aware of it throughout your day!
