Day 2 - Sorrow and Mourning Will Disappear

"When He comes He will open the eyes of the blind and unplug the ears of the deaf. The lame will leap like a deer and those who cannot speak will sing for joy!". (Isaiah 35:5-6)

We only have to look at the garden of Eden to know how God intended things to be.

Adam and Eve walked with God, talked with God, and enjoyed His amazing creation together with their Maker. There was joy, life in abundance, no shame, no sin, no sickness, no anxiety, no nothing.. God was there, and things were good. We lived in His presence!

We all know what happened next.

BUT... Jesus! He came to close the gap between us and God. To restore. To redeem. To once again have an intimate relationship with Him. To give life in abundance.

Not just for life hereafter, but for here, on earth. On earth, as it is in Heaven.

Jesus is the Word. The Word spoke (and still speaks!) things into being.

So as of today, sing these words, His words, sing Jesus over your life and watch things change!

4. Say to those with fearful hearts,
“Be strong, and do not fear,
for your God is coming to destroy your enemies.
He is coming to save you.”

5. And when He comes, He will open the eyes of the blind
and unplug the ears of the deaf.

6. The lame will leap like a deer,
and those who cannot speak will sing for joy!

2. Yes, there will be an abundance of flowers
and singing and joy!

1. Even the wilderness and desert will be glad in those days.
The wasteland will rejoice and blossom [like a wildflower].

10. They will enter Jerusalem singing,
crowned with everlasting joy.
Sorrow and mourning will disappear,
and they will be filled with joy and gladness.
