Moses - a Life of Purposeنموونە

Moses is living a new life in the land of Midian, far away from the palaces of Egypt and the privileged life he once lived. Moses, raised by his mother, knew that he was Hebrew. He knew of the slavery his people were under, and it all came to a head when at the age of forty, he witnessed an Egyptian beating an Israelite slave and, in his anger, he turned on the Egyptian, killing him. Pharaoh found out about it, and he wanted Moses dead, so Moses ran away and hid.
Forty years later, everything changed again for Moses through a miraculous sign. God called to him from a burning bush. No matter how much fire covered the bush, it didn’t burn.
Moses heard God’s voice from the bush, “Don’t come any closer, take off your sandals—the ground where you are standing is holy. “I have seen how my people are suffering as slaves in Egypt, and I have heard them beg for my help because of the way they are being mistreated. I feel sorry for them, and I have come to rescue them from the Egyptians.”
God had not forgotten about his people, and he had not forgotten about Moses. God called Moses to follow His purpose - to lead God’s people to freedom.
