Ruth, a Moabite woman, is embraced by God's people and becomes an integral part of King David's lineage and, ultimately, Jesus Christ. In the metanarrative of scripture, we see how God’s redemptive plan comes through His chosen people of Israel, but He ultimately includes all nations, f and provided a way for us to become children of God. It’s remarkable how this story demonstrates God's love and heart for all nations and foreshadows His plan of salvation for all offered through Jesus.
