You are In Training
Your detour is a life class. It will prepare you in the best way possible for the purpose God has designed you to accomplish.
Despite the undesirable circumstances and seasons of Joseph's journey, it was the preparation process for his position as governor of Egypt. His role as a governor was on a larger scale and stage, yet similar to his responsibilities as a slave and in the prison where everything was placed under his care and authority. Joseph had the mindset that 'there are no small parts in a play' so he worked at it, giving his best and committing himself to the process.
In life, no position or situation is insignificant. No experience is ever lost, but how we view our experiences impacts how we go through them and makes a world of difference in how we come out of it! This mindset and perspective are vital, especially when on a detour. The people, places, and situations we encounter on a detour prepare us progressively for the stops along the way and for maximum impact when we reach our destination.
As you go through your detour, remain open and committed to learning from the people and situations you encounter. They are designed to equip and empower you for the great work God created you to do.

Detours are an inevitable part of our life's journey. We are rarely excited about detours because they are a different or less direct route to our destination. However, with the right perspective, detours can prepare you in the best way possible for the purpose God has designed you to accomplish. This plan will equip you with essential truths to remember as you navigate from disappointment to destiny.
