Stand Firm: 10 Truths Every High School Girl Should Knowنموونە
If you have younger siblings or have ever babysat, you know that kids under the age of three are basically walking around searching for creative ways to hurt themselves. If you take your eyes off of them for even a second, you might look up to find them ready to jump off the kitchen table, playing with an electrical outlet, or ready to take a bite out of a detergent pod. And the moment you see this, you spring into action to separate them from danger because you know the end result could be tragic if you don’t, right?
This is the very reason God has called you to share your faith with those around you. It can be scary to even think about, but just like that 3 year old can’t see the danger right in front of them, your friends who don’t know Christ don’t realize they are living without hope and are heading for an eternity separated from God. You are called to spring into action to offer life, hope, and truth. Telling others about your faith can be intimidating, but remember, God doesn't call the qualified; He qualifies the called. Know that God is with you, and He promises to give you the words and strength you need.
- Why do you think it's important to share your faith with others? What motivates you to share about your relationship with God?
- What are some common challenges or fears you face when it comes to telling others about God? How can we address and overcome those challenges together?
- What are some ways we can show God's love to others even if we don't have an opportunity to share our faith directly? How can our actions and attitudes reflect our relationship with God?
