God's Redemption Story (Genesis)نموونە

Clearly, God had big plans to bless Jacob, even though he didn’t deserve it. Jacob stole his brother’s birthright as a young man and tricked his father into blessing him. Though his ways were deceitful, God allowed him to retain the blessing anyway. When Jacob needed to run from Esau’s murderous intent, Jacob again asked God to bless him before he hit the road. And a third time, God visited Jacob in a dream and promised to give him many descendants and lots of land.
We may be thinking, Why would God bless such a lousy guy? But let’s be careful where we point that finger. We don’t deserve God’s forgiveness and blessing any more than Jacob did, yet Jesus went to the cross to pay our price and give us eternal life with him.
