Fruit of the Spiritنموونە

God gives us the fruit of the Spirit to help us live our life with Jesus. When we first start to follow Jesus, we are not going to be the best at living with love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. We need to practice the fruit of God’s Spirit living within us.

Each new day is another opportunity to make a choice; are we going to live out of our own selfish nature or from God’s Spirit living within us? Even after following Jesus for a long time, we still need to practice!

I want to stay connected to Christ. I want to be a person that bears fruit. I can’t bear any fruit if I’m just a little dry branch out on my own. To stay connected to Jesus I read my Bible, pray, and worship. I spend time with other branches, others who follow Jesus, to learn and grow. Stay connected to Christ and bear fruit.
