All of us have either faced difficult times, are facing difficult times or will face difficult times. Perhaps you have felt like throwing in the towel and giving up on God and your faith. If we are truly trusting God, we are not responsible for the ultimate outcome of difficult times. Even when things do not turn out the way we want or expect, God is responsible for the outcome. We only need to trust and obey God. The great news is that our ability to overcome does not come from our own strength; it comes from the power of Holy Spirit.

Today's challenge: Write down some specific ways that you can overcome the issues that you face in life by trusting God for the outcome. How do they add purpose and direction in your life?
