The 4 Living Creatures Series Part 2: The Oxنموونە

Ministry
The word “ministry” is just another form of service. There is the ministry of education that offers educational material to students. We also have the ministry of defense whose sole responsibility is the defense and protection of a territory. We also have the ministry of the Holy Spirit.
The Holy Spirit has many modes of operation, including ministering through human vessels. Along with offering physical assistance like the ox, we are to offer spiritual support to those around us. Many times, our prayer topics are self-centered. We are always concerned about our own progress, but we are seldom as equally concerned for another. The nature of the ox is selfless. The ox’s function is to cater to the needs of his owner. In like manner, if we find that we are strong in a certain area, we are called to strengthen another. Serving each other's spirit is one of the responsibilities of a Christian. It is not a task that is reserved solely for the church leader, but it is the responsibility of us all.
We are our brother's keeper, and we are called to encourage and nurture one another. Who have you bypassed today? Take some time to speak to a brother or sister who needs encouragement. Pray with them and be the vessel that God uses to uplift their spirit.
