Authentic Leadership

Jesus’ first disciples proclaimed a message based on their personal relationship with Jesus. We have that same privilege. If our lives and leadership are not based an intimate, experiential knowledge of Jesus, our words will sound empty and we will not be able to sustain a lifestyle of servant leadership. Who do you know Jesus to be? Have you heard Him speak to you? Have you seen Him at work? What can you tell others about Him?

That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked at and our hands have touched--this we proclaim concerning the Word of life.—1 John 1:1

Prayer: Jesus, I want my life and leadership to flow from my relationship with You. I want to see you, to hear You, to touch You. I want to share with others the life that You have given me. In Your Name, Amen.
