Did you know it's written in the Bible - not to be afraid, over 365 times? God wanted us to know every single day, we should not fear because He is in control.

The angels had to remind the shepherds not to fear, too! These guys were not expecting a heavenly host to arrive while they worked with their sheep, so when it happened, they freaked! At first...

Then, they responded differently. As soon as they realized that this message was coming from God, they seized the moment (the great JOY) and went to find baby Jesus. God chose humble shepherds to welcome baby Jesus into the world. This symbolizes how God tells all of us to FEAR NOT and instead to SEIZE this great JOY!
