Different Life: 8th Commandmentنموونە

The truth is not always easily known. Sometimes people are sincerely wrong. Sometimes they intentionally deceive. Sometimes we buy into non-truths because we like how they sound, are afraid of the alternative, or as Jack Nicholson would say, can’t handle the truth. The Bible says this world is blinded to the truth. It does not know and cannot see. Like someone groping in the dark, it throws up its hands saying truth can’t ever be found. It sighs in despair that truth is only really perspective.
Jesus is different. He claims to be the truth. That truth is most clearly seen in him.
What is true in this world? What is not? What is good in this world? What is not? Let Jesus be your anchor, measure, and guiding light for truth in this world. May your life be based on truth. On him.

Christians are different. They can’t help it. When you’re born again and filled with the Spirit, it changes you. This leads to different values about right and wrong and a different lifestyle to match it. This series of 5-day plans uses the 10 Commandments (following the classic Augustinian ordering) as a vehicle for an alternative, Christ-like morality and Jesus-way of living.
