The Table, a Series on Communityنموونە

Do you see that word that gets repeated? Together… Together. This was the very beginning of Christianity… we see it modeled from the very first believers… the ones who knew Jesus… they followed Him together.
We live right now in the greatest age of connectivity that there has ever been. The internet and social media have made it possible for us to connect with anyone and everyone with very little effort on our part. That’s good. Community is “doing life together.” And I think community is best when it’s in the context of our faith. We tend to think about our relationship with Jesus as personal, but community has a huge impact on our faith… and it’s supposed to be that way.
What does the word “community” mean to you?

Thanksgiving is a season of unity, community, and fellowship. We center around the table — the place where we gather to enjoy each other. We come to God’s table as a community of believers, bringing our authentic selves to receive all God has for us. This series explores what we can bring to the table and what God has in store for us when we do!
