WHAT’S GOD LIKE?

How would you describe God? These verses tell us what God is like. They don’t say what God looks like because he can’t be seen with our eyes.

Verses 8 and 9 tell us that God is:

• loving;
• merciful;
• kind;
• patient;
• always loving;
• good to everyone.

What do your friends think of God? Why not ask them?

Do you – or they – think of God as a king? Verses 10 to 13 say that God is the king of the world. He’s the best!

How long will God be king and rule? Check the psalm again if you’re not sure.

Why will God’s people talk about what he has done? (Verses 12 and 13 may help.)

What do you think is the best thing about knowing God?

Pray: What have you discovered about God in this psalm? What will you say to God about it?
