Learning to P.R.A.Y. With Lightglidersنموونە

The P.R.A.Y. Model

Did you know that through prayer we have direct access to the Creator of the universe? What an incredible opportunity! Over the next few days, we are going to learn and practice the P.R.A.Y. model used within Lightgliders. The purpose of this model is to help inspire a living connection with the God who loves us. The four elements of the Lightgliders P.R.A.Y. model are:

P - Prepare

R - Read

A - Apply

Y - Yield

During this reading plan, watch the short prayer video included at the end of each day. Each video was designed to help you put the P.R.A.Y. model into practice in the following ways:

• Prepare. At the beginning of the video, a Lightglider leader will help you slow down to a place of peace while introducing a prayer topic. It is important to have your heart prepared.
• Read. Next a particular text of Scripture and a supporting prayer will be there for you to read. This is to help get your thoughts aligned with God’s love and truth.
• Apply. Then a reflection question is shared so that you can ponder how you could apply what God is revealing to you through this time of prayer.
• Yield. Finally, take time to yield to any additional prayer or reflection that has been stirred inside you.
