Perfect Redemption: Easter Devotional for Kidsنموونە

The Last Supper
Jesus had a meal with His disciples before He was crucified. It is a very special meal, especially during this Easter Season. He wanted us to continue this practice so that He will be remembered. Today, Christians (followers of Jesus Christ) carry out this command.
When we partake of communion, we take the bread which signifies the body of Jesus Christ, and the wine which signifies the blood of Jesus Christ. In doing this, we strengthen our relationship with Jesus Christ and it helps us to always remember the price Jesus paid for our sins.
Have you ever been part of communion or seen your parents take part? Does it look strange to you or have you ever wondered what it means? Next time, when you take communion, know that you are partaking of the flesh and body of Jesus Christ.
Memory verse
Then He took bread, gave thanks, broke it and shared it with them. (Luke 22:19a)
Word of the day
Communion
- the service of Christian worship at which bread and wine are shared
Say and Pray
Father, help me to always remember the price You paid to save me. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
