Lord's Prayer: Thy Will Be Doneنموونە

What’s it like in heaven? From what the Bible tells us and from what we can imagine, things there are happening so much more according to what God wants.
People aren’t sinning, Sin isn’t infecting. Death isn’t attacking. Life isn’t waning. Satan isn’t prowling. God’s name is hallowed, worshiped, and praised. People are living in the presence of God, seeing God, and delighting in God and he delights in them. It’s fair to say that God’s will is more fully realized in heaven. Things go God’s way in heaven far more than they do on earth.
That’s why Jesus tells us to pray, “Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.” In other words, what’s true there, make true here. “Father, bring what’s happening in heaven here on earth today!”
Consider this today…
What aspects of heaven do you wish would become reality on earth? Ask for that boldly in Jesus’s name.
