Day 5:

The Weight of Weariness

Lord, help me fight the temptation of weariness. In the seasons that I feel weary, both physically and emotionally, help me lean into the rest You offer me. Your Word reminds me that You are the One who carries me, strengthens me, and builds me up. When I begin to feel weariness bubble up, stir me with Your Holy Spirit to fix my eyes on You and not the weight of this world. In Jesus' name, amen.

Isaiah 40:28

Have you not known? Have you not heard? The Lord is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He does not faint or grow weary; his understanding is unsearchable.
