Discover Your True Strength

Life has a way of testing our strength, often through unexpected challenges and trials that threaten to weaken our resolve. These moments, which I call “strength-stealers,” can drain us of courage and passion if we allow them to. But in the middle of our struggles, there lies a choice—a choice to stand firm and choose strength.

Just as God encouraged Joshua to be strong and courageous as he faced the challenges of leading God’s people, I believe He calls us to choose strength even in challenging situations. Joshua's story serves as a reminder that strength is a choice: to trust in God's promises and walk in His power.

As you navigate life's ups and downs, remember you can choose Christ who gives us strength. Whether choosing forgiveness over resentment, peace over anger, faith over fear, or something else, each godly choice you make contributes to your inner strength and resilience.

Start with one choice - the decision to trust in God's strength and embrace His joy. Nehemiah 8:10 reminds us, “The joy of the Lord is [our] strength” providing us with the opportunity to face whatever lies ahead with courage.

As you journey through this devotional, I pray that you are inspired to choose strength in every circumstance, knowing that God is with you, empowering you to overcome and thrive.
