Persecution, Trials, and Witnessing
Peace/Salam/Shalom, my friend. I am so excited to share this study with you on the power of Jesus during persecution and trials. We will study this part of Acts chapter 28, which follows a lot of tribulations that the Apostle Paul has gone through. In chapters 26 and 27, the Apostle Paul suffers for believing in Jesus as the Messiah risen from the dead. He proclaims the message of the good news and for that he is persecuted and attacked by nonbelievers. Today we see how God can use tribulations for His purposes on earth. As you read the scripture for today, consider the following questions:
Why was Paul a prisoner?
Why did they head to Rome?
How many trials did God help Paul through on this trip?
Why did the people of Malta listen to Paul?
How did the healings and miracles open the door for witnessing?
Has Jesus ever left Paul throughout the journey?
How do you see God moving in your trials?
God is faithful to use all events for His glory. Commit to thank God in all circumstances and see the unique actions that Jesus doing in your life. Can you see God’s hand today in your situation? Remember God is faithful and will help you share the gospel. Share with others how God answered prayer and used you to share the gospel throughout your journey with Christ.
