God's Redemption Story (The Gospels)نموونە

Life & Teachings of Jesus - Day 14
When Jesus called himself “the bread of life,” the Jews thought he meant literal bread, and they were pretty grossed out. “How can this man give us his flesh to eat?” But Jesus meant that God sent him to give his people spiritual, mental, and emotional nourishment and health.
We all have a God-shaped space in our hearts, and our selfish human nature wants to find ways to fill it on our own. We might use other relationships, professional success, drugs or alcohol, food, exercise, or competition. But only a personal relationship with Jesus can clean our hearts, heal our wounds, and make us whole.
