What name have you been given out of others’ woundedness? What have you believed about yourself that isn’t from your Father? We have to ask these questions of ourselves and of God. Open yourself to God. Ask Him to show you what you believe and have been led to believe about yourself. Invite Him in to show you the false beliefs. Ask Him to reveal the things that would keep you from believing who He knows you are and has created you to be.

Don’t be discouraged if you do not receive your new name right away. Your Father is so true and loves you so much that He will not give you a gift that you cannot fully appreciate, believe or embrace. Don’t give up on receiving your new name.
