Reading With the People of God - #5 We Believe.نموونە

Memorization Challenge of the Month:
I believe in God, the Father almighty, creator of heaven and earth.
I believe in Jesus Christ, his only Son, our Lord, who was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary. He suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried; he descended to hell. The third day he rose again from the dead. He ascended to heaven and is seated at the right hand of God the Father almighty. From there he will come to judge the living and the dead.
I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy Christian church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting. Amen.
Reading with the People of God Primer:
Today's readings remind us to trust God, obey His commands, and seek true righteousness. As you prepare to read God's Word, reflect on these guiding questions as a tool to deepen your time with the Lord today:
Guiding Questions:
- How can you cultivate greater trust and humility?
- In what ways can you better obey God's commandments?
- How does your faith translate into actions?

This is the fifth part of a reading plan through the Bible, following the lectionary pattern of reading in the Psalms, Old Testament, and New Testament each day. In addition, each day this month will feature a memorization challenge for the Apostles' Creed, and there will be brief devotionals from different people in our Church scattered throughout the plan.
