What makes something real? How do you measure or verify it? While we can argue in all kinds of ways to define what’s real, it comes down to experience in many ways. We know something is real because we’ve experienced it in our lives and the lives of others. This is true for faith! While we can’t tangibly see faith or God physically in our world, we can trust that our faith and God are real because we experience them daily.

We can trust that God is who God promises to be and will do all God promises to do because we’ve seen it or experienced it before. So, when the future feels uncertain, we can be certain of one thing: our faith in the God who holds it all together.

Today, spend time working on memorizing Hebrews 11:1. Write it down somewhere you’ll see it often, like your mirror, your locker, the back of your hand, or a lock screen on your phone. Each time you come across it, stop and say it aloud. Let it remind you that an unseen faith is what can carry you into an unknown future.
