Have you ever done something just to fit in with other people? Maybe you’ve changed the things you’re interested in, your words, your perspectives, or the people you hang out with just so you can be included. But at the end of the day, it doesn’t work. Even if you do find yourself fitting in after all those changes, you aren’t living confidently as the person God made you to be.

Rather than changing to be something or someone we’re not, our goal should be to live confidently as the person God created us to be. Only God can change us, not to fit in but to make us more like God. That’s where our confidence and humility come from and where we can find the best place to fit in our lives.

Today, ask God to help you find comfort in being the person you’ve been made to be. Pray that God would change you to be like God in confidence and humility!
