Acts 5:12-42 | First Loyalty (No Matter What)نموونە

In the face of imprisonment and flogging, even under threat of death, it says the disciples never stopped teaching and proclaiming the good news of King Jesus house to house and in the temple courts. In fact, they rejoiced in their suffering. What the authorities meant as disgrace, they wore as a badge of honor. It was a sign they were being associated with Jesus. They were treated as worthy of suffering disgrace for “the Name.”
Acts begs a question. Would people associate you with King Jesus? And would you find any suffering or persecution associated with him as a badge of honor? Would you count yourself worthy in those times of suffering disgrace for the Name? In many ways it’s the ultimate example of loyalty. Jesus gave his all for us. It’s a way of giving our all back to him.
If this plan helped orient you to the ongoing work and teaching of Jesus in this world, we encourage you to subscribe to our other plans on Acts.
