Face Your Fears 10 Day Devotionalنموونە

DAY 5 | CHOOSING TO BE UNSTUCK
Fear can be paralyzing, especially when it stems from concern about others' opinions or potential risks and dangers. It can cause you to feel stuck and to begin to believe that there is no way out. But the Word of God assures you that trusting in the Lord brings safety. God wants you to walk by faith, trusting Him day by day. He is more than capable of taking care of your every need.
Today, consider how the fear of what others think or what might happen has hindered you or caused you to become stuck. Choose to replace those concerns with trust in God, who desires your ultimate safety and well-being. As you face your fears, remember that God is your refuge and strength. Examine the examples of people walking in faith recorded in Hebrews 11.
Reflect on Proverbs 3:5-6, and consider areas of your life where you need to trust God more and lean less on your understanding.
GUIDED PRAYER:
Almighty God, deepen my faith so that it overcomes my fears. Help me not to lean on my own understanding but to trust You fully in all circumstances. Guide my paths with Your wisdom.
Amen.

Are your fears holding you back from God's best in your life? Do you recognize that your fear is robbing you of your faith and trust in God? We all deal with fear from time to time. God has given us this critical emotion for good reasons. But there are those times when our regular and normal fears become illogical and unreasonable. They lead us to make bad decisions that only make things worse. God is with you and HIS perfect love casts out fear.
