6 Prayers for Your Childrenنموونە

Today's Prayer: Pray they would live in expectation of God’s Kingdom to come.
It’s with great anticipation that I look toward the future. My hope is in the God of victory and because of that, I can experience His abundance even now in the midst of a broken world. That abundance now fuels my hope for what is to come!
Let’s finish this week off by praying that our children would live like Heaven is coming (because it is). That they would be found ready and expecting God to move, “waiting patiently and confidently” the same way Paul encourages the Romans in 8:25. Trusting His faithfulness is the same today as it was yesterday and will be tomorrow, and that “the Lord works for the good of those who love Him.” That they would be eager for Heaven and eager to see others find Heaven as well. That the expectation would lead to a life of peace and purpose even now.
Today, pray that your child(ren) would live in expectation of God’s Kingdom to come.

It is my hope that as parents we are bringing our children before the Lord daily - trusting Him with their hopes, dreams and futures, as well as their protection, peace, and sustenance. With great care we look after their lives and try to protect their hearts, but it’s all for nothing if it’s not all for Him. As we look to intentionally pray over our children, point them to Christ, and exemplify the joys of godly living, I’m hopeful these 6 prayers will encourage you and bless your family.
