Lydia’s story shows us a beautiful truth, faith isn’t meant to stay private. When she believed, she didn’t tuck it away. She lived it out, fully and openly.

She was a worshiper of God before she even met Paul. And once she heard the gospel, she acted immediately. She got baptised, her household followed, and she opened her home to become the meeting place for the new church in Philippi.

This was no small thing. Philippi was a Roman colony, and following Jesus wasn’t exactly popular. But Lydia’s faith wasn’t compartmentalised. It flowed into her leadership, her hospitality, her family, and her legacy.

Faith isn’t just for Sundays. It transforms how we speak, how we give, how we love, and how we lead. When Jesus is at the centre, every part of your life becomes a place where others can encounter him.

You don’t have to separate your “spiritual life” from your everyday life. You carry His presence into every room you walk into!
