Day 1: In the Beginning, God Created

Scripture: In the beginning, God (Elohim) created [by forming from nothing] the heavens and the earth. (Genesis 1:1 AMP)

Devotional Thought: Before time began, before light broke the darkness, God imagined. His imagination wasn’t just an idea. It was life itself, a spark that brought the universe into being. Every star, every ocean wave, every breath of wind was once a thought in the mind of God.

And in His image, He made you. Creativity flows through you because it flows from Him. Every idea that stirs in your heart, every vision that nudges your mind, every whisper of inspiration carries His life-giving Spirit. You are not here by accident; you are here to create, to imagine, to bring echoes and reflections of heaven into the world around you.

Today, take a moment to recognize that the same God who spoke worlds into existence is breathing inspiration into you, inviting you to imagine and to bring forth new life in both small and unimaginable ways. Your thoughts, your hands, your voice all have the power to reflect the heartbeat of our Creator.

• How does it feel to know that creativity is part of who God made you to be?
• Where might God be inviting you to imagine and create something new today?
• How can you allow His Spirit to awaken new ideas in your heart right now?

Prayer: Father, thank You for creating me in Your image and for filling me with Your breath of life. Help me to see that my creativity is a reflection of You. Guide my imagination, awaken new ideas, and give me the courage to bring them into reality in ways that honor You. In Jesus' name--- Amen.
