Romans: A 30 Day Visit

ڕۆژی29 لە 30

How can you "be wise about what is good, and innocent of what is evil"?

Just as Paul commended many friends in the opening of this chapter, he now warns his friends in Rome to be wary of those people who sow division amongst people and whose teaching is off kilter. Stay away from them. We become like the people we spend the most time with, so it is wise for us to assess these influences in our lives.

Think through the people in your sphere. Are there those who are contentious, who gossip, who sow discord?

How can you limit your time with them?

Paul ends this whole letter by calling the Gentiles to "the obedience that comes from faith".

How does this work? What causes faith to naturally produce obedience?

How have you seen this to be true in your own life?

You've done it! You read through all of Romans, and tomorrow you will listen through it just like it was a letter written to you.

For our final day together, plan for a half hour of listening and settle in with a hot beverage and a comfy chair.

Romans: A 30 Day Visit

Paul's letter to the church in Rome is packed! He is helping this new church establish a vision for what it looks like to be citizens of God's Kingdom. As we take the trip together over the next month, we too see that what we believe, always influences how we live.
