Day 5 – The Final Destination

Devotional:

Every journey has a goal. No driver gets behind the wheel without a destination. So it is with our lives. We are on the road – and the question is: where to? Do you just drift along, or do you drive consciously toward your eternal destination?

God has a purpose for your life. Not only for the here and now, but in the first place for eternity. Jesus has opened the way to that destination. He is the Way, the Truth, and the Life. If you give Him the wheel, He will bring you safely home – even if you sometimes lose your way.

The Holy Spirit is your daily Navigation, Jesus is the Way, and the Father is waiting for you at the end of the road. What a certainty, what a peace! Give your life over again today, for with Him at the wheel, you will arrive exactly where you are meant to be.

Prayer of the Day:

Lord Jesus, You are my Way. I want to follow You every day. Thank You that my life has You as my destination, and that You guide, carry, and protect me. Holy Spirit, keep steering me – until I am home with You. Amen.
