This is Hope with God. I'm Andrew Palau.

Our lives don’t unfold in straight lines. God takes us on winding journeys that sometimes make no sense in the moment. Storms come through. They threaten to destroy us. But one thing’s for certain—God is with us through it all, and He is always faithful.

Hebrews 6:19 describes the hope we have in Christ when it says,

"This hope is a strong and trustworthy anchor for our souls. It leads us through the curtain into God’s inner sanctuary." [NLT]

God does not shield us from the storms of life, but no matter what happens, when we cling to Him as our anchor, there’s a promise—that we will not be destroyed. We will not be lost at sea forever or drowned. Not that it won’t be hard—sometimes even horrible—but through it all, HE WILL BE WITH US.

He is our living hope. In Christ, there is no more need for despair.
