Day 14: Revival

The Holy Spirit did amazing things to kick off the early church. We’ll read about an incredible revival in Acts 2. Filled with the Holy Spirit, Peter moved in signs and wonders and released God’s healing to a lame man. He knew he had the answer to the lame man’s problems, and he did what he had seen Jesus do multiple times before — he commanded the man to walk! When we are filled with the Spirit, we will have hope for the impossible.

What encourages you about Peter’s example? Ask the Holy Spirit to give you boldness and strength to pray for people. As a believer in Jesus, you have important gifts to give to the people around you. They need what you have!
