A Surge Of Sharingنموونە

Being A Model
Have you ever been with another person when they shared their faith and thought, “Wow, I could never do that.” Or perhaps you are gifted at sharing about Jesus, and your friends say, “I do not know how you do it!” If you have a special ability to communicate the gospel, you should definitely thank God. But not everyone has that gift. So it is important for you to know how to talk with others about Jesus in a way that anyone could imitate. Ken Cochrum recalls how using a simple approach encouraged a brand-new follower of Jesus to share her faith.

When you show others how to share their faith using a simple tool (for example, www.godtoolsapp.com), they think, “That’s great. But that is not so hard. I can get the same tool and do that!” When people start thinking in this way, you have the beginnings of a movement of sharing. Even if you are an expert at sharing about Jesus, be willing to model a simple approach. This will encourage others that they too can do it.

As you make it a practice to share your faith and involve others, a movement of sharing about Jesus will start growing. You can help others join this movement by being intentional, pursuing unity, leveraging technology and modeling simple methods. Each of these devotionals contain a short audio message (1-2 minutes). These ideas will help you and others join together to experience a surge of opportunities to share the gospel.
