Bible Society Australia is encouraging all Christians to kick start their Bible reading habit, starting with just 25 words from the Bible every day for 31 days. The Bible is made up of chunks of about 25 words- what we call verses. And that's about the number of words we use on Twitter, in an SMS, a Facebook status update. It seems God's been into short messaging for a long time! We want Christians to find out how to 'live light' in 25 words. Pray that God would teach you through His Word as you read and consider the question.

Deeper into Scripture is a methodology of scripture reading that instructs, encourages and equips people to read God’s Word daily and deeply. We have created a unique four-fold method of bible reading that directs the individual to read a short passage of scripture four times. Each reading is done with a different question, instruction or objective to be considered. This repetitive reading and instruction takes us deeply into the Word of God and draws us closer to Him.

This reading plan is part of a series that will take you through the entire New Testament in a year. Each month's plan covers a specific book or books. October focuses on 1 Peter, James, Jude, and 1 Corinthians. The plan is designed to be used with a small group of friends. Read the daily passage first, reflect on one or all of the questions, and try the engagement practice.

Over the next 31 days, we’ll journey through two of Paul’s prison letters: Ephesians and Philippians. We’ll unpack some of his greatest lessons including how you can live victoriously, even in hard times, and how you can find and keep your joy in all seasons.
