In his second letter to the church at Corinth, Paul encourages believers to live in the identity Christ has provided for them. Although as fragile and mundane as jars of clay, God’s people hold the inestimable treasure of the gospel in their lives (2 Corinthians 4:7). 2 Corinthians reminds us that we are ambassadors for Christ, tasked with showing and sharing God’s good news of reconciliation for all who believe (2 Corinthians 5:20).

Unlimited Destiny will reveal to you two kingdoms, one heavenly and the other earthly. You either dwell in one or the other. You will see that Jesus has invited you into the Kingdom of Heaven and He has bought your entry with His own blood. He has overcome the world, the earthly kingdom, and with Him on your side, you will also overcome the world.

This reading plan explores the background to Paul's letters to the Corinthians, examines the structure and content of First and Second Corinthians, and reveals his eschatology.

We all need instructions, even marching orders. God’s provides these instructions through a series of letters that we find in the New Testament. These two letters are a powerful message from the Apostle Paul to a church that was passionate about its mission but needed direction to remain true to its Christian faith and doctrines. Those priorities make his letters important teaching for every Christian.

For the next four weeks, we’ll look at how the earliest followers of Jesus created a new kind of community as God's family. Through their example, we’ll learn that there is enough when we share what we have — and if there isn’t enough, God provides. We'll also learn that our actions can speak when words aren’t enough and that God’s love is always enough.
