Written by Luke to Theophilus, Acts is a sequel to Luke’s earlier Gospel. Luke writes Acts to provide a historical record of the early church and show the trajectory of God's redemptive plan after the resurrection of Jesus. Acts reorients us to the mission of God today: a diverse church, filled with the Holy Spirit, dedicated to showing and sharing the gospel across the earth.

For the next four weeks, we’ll look at how the earliest followers of Jesus created a new kind of community as God's family. Through their example, we’ll learn that there is enough when we share what we have — and if there isn’t enough, God provides. We'll also learn that our actions can speak when words aren’t enough and that God’s love is always enough.

Wealth is one of the portions for God's children. Just like everything He gives you, there must be a purpose attached to it; otherwise, it will be misused and abused. If you can earn God's trust to be a good steward of His wealth, He will bless you. In this devotional, you will learn key reasons why God has blessed you to be a blessing to others.
