It’s a different kind of hope flowing from Christ’s perspective on things. This is the third in a series of 5-day plans that uses the Lord’s Prayer to show how Jesus invites us to approach life and the future.

It seems like the world is more divided than ever. No matter where we turn, it feels like we're being forced to choose a side. This Us vs. Them mentality has crept into our churches too, especially when it comes to missions. Some champion evangelism at the expense of addressing physical needs. Others take a more humanitarian approach, dismissing spiritual needs altogether. It's exhausting and frustrating. But it doesn't have to be this way. What if I told you there was a more vibrant, love-out-loud approach to missions? What if I told you we were made for more?

Matthew writes to God’s people and walks them on a journey that will take them from where they are to be Disciple Makers. This is 12 of 27 devotional plans walking us through the book of Matthew. Jesus has a message for needy people—from John the Baptist, to people not aware of their needs and to hurting people. His message is “Come, I will give you rest."

The devotions in this reading plan point you to God and his Word for strength and encouragement when life get’s you down.
