Every year we take time before Easter to reflect on the week of the Cross and the sacrifice that Jesus made. We do this to experience a deeper relationship with Christ. For the next ten days, let’s take time together, pause, and reflect on the key moments of the Journey to the Cross.

This plan is a guide to discover God’s story as it unfolds in the Bible - from Genesis through Revelation. Over 12 days, each devotional will introduce one part of that story. Each will list the Scripture passages covering that period, and dates, highlight its main points and briefly summarize the part it plays within the context of God’s redemptive plan. The Bible reading each day should take about 30 minutes.

This reading plan explores the first Gospel. This Gospel explains that Jesus was the king of Jews that brought the kingdom of heaven, even though Jesus didn't arrive in the way people expected.

The crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus are described in the four gospels. This Easter read about how Jesus endured betrayal, suffering, and humiliation on the cross before changing the world through the hope offered by His resurrection. A short video illustrates part of the story for each day of this plan.

This devotional will lead us through key passages of the gospel of Matthew to show us how Jesus provides hope and peace in the midst of all of life’s circumstances.

The plan is designed to begin on a Monday so that each weekend will include shorter content meant for rest and reflection during the holiday season.
