How Do We Live For God?
BIG QUESTION ALERT! Have you ever asked the question “how do I live for God”? It’s a big question that definitely deserves our attention. Romans 12 gives us a helpful hint as to how to go about living our life for God. As Young Adults, we’re in the season of life where we ask ourselves some big questions and really start to sort out ‘the rest of our lives’. I think the key to living for God is found in Romans 12; that we should take our everyday (not just Sundays) ordinary life (the highs and the lows, the good, the bad and the ugly) and present them to God as an offering. Living for God begins with us making the decision that in everything we do, we can live for God. My prayer is that this week we will understand what it means to offer God our everyday, ordinary life to Him.
Prayer: God, we thank You that even amongst the menial tasks of life and the day to day we can live our lives in such a way that glorifies You. We pray that You’ll help us to live a life of significance and purpose. AMEN.
