The art of making fine clothes

Your talent for design and making clothing is not be taken lightly. As a matter of fact, I’d go as far as to say that couture is the only way to go. I scoured the old and new testaments studying how the authors spoke about clothing and came upon numerous texts talking about “fine” clothing. Now you know I’m always looking for scriptures to strengthen my argument to my husband that should be allowed to exclusively wear couture straight off of the Paris runway (kidding, not kidding). I don’t think he’d buy my argument, but he won’t be able to disagree with the fact that the men and women of the old testament were respectful of the designers and tailors of the time. No fast fashion here; I’m pretty sure they took pleasure in saving for, creating/selecting fabric and constructing well-made garments. I say all that to say that as a fashion and beauty professional, try not to skimp on your art. Invest in quality brushes, paints, fabrics, machinery and other materials. There is honor in creating long-lasting quality pieces that will last a generation or two, or three.
