The Devil's Playground

We live in a world under the control of evil, and the only thing holding evil back from having total rule is the mercy of God. We live and operate in the devil’s playground; people are not the enemy. In Ephesians, Paul had a way of showing us who the real enemy was: “For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms” (Ephesians 6:12). 

If we are not clear about who we are at war against, then we will not be effective in battle. It is essential to know your location, and this is all the truer in these times in which we live. It would behoove you to equip yourself with high-quality training, equipment, and a proper mind-set, but also daily prayer and fellowship with God. With these steps, you will be prepared to face the plans and dangers in a world that is laced with danger, and you will be equipped to give peace to a world that seeks answers only God can give. 

Heavenly Father, thank you for victory, protection, and a prosperous career. Place a shield of protection around me and those who serve with me. Grant me favor in your sight and in the sight of those I serve with. Amen.
