SUN AND SHIELD
Psalm 84:11
O God, You are my Sun and Shield. Your radiant light provides clarity and cleansing, while Your protective hand continually guards and guides. Let me hear You say to my soul each morning, "Awake, sleeper, and arise from the dead, and Christ will shine on you." O God, just as the sun powerfully rises over the mountain tops, please come, rise, and be beautifully alive in me! Make Thy face to shine upon Thy servant; save me in Thy lovingkindness. Continue to turn my face toward You, O God, the living God. Help me to desire the warmth and security found in You alone. Yes, You are my sun and shield. I eagerly anticipate with humble gratitude Your tender mercies, which indeed never cease and Your compassions that never fail. They are new every morning. Great is Thy faithfulness.

About this Plan
