How can touching someone be a brave thing to do?
The Jewish law said that anyone who was bleeding was ‘unclean.’ They were not allowed to worship with others until the bleeding stopped. Anyone who touched them would be ‘unclean’ too.
Read Mark, chapter 5, verses 21 to 34 if you haven’t already done so.
What happened when the woman touched Jesus’ clothes? (Look again at verse 29, if you can’t remember.)
Why was the woman afraid to talk to Jesus?
Did she need to be afraid?
What did Jesus say to her? (Check your answer, from verse 34.)
Pray. Is there anything you really need Jesus’ help with? Imagine yourself reaching out to touch his clothes and then listen for his reply. Jesus can, when no one else can!
