Killing It: A Study Of 1 CorinthiansSample

We think what kills relationships is differences. If we just had the same ideology or the same politics or the same identity or the same culture, or if we could just educate people about differences, that would heal us.
Jesus would say that relationship, community, is built on self-giving love. Community always begins with the giving of self.
What fractures human community is not differences of opinion.
It’s the brokenness of the will. It is the stubborn, self-seeking, often subtle idolization of the ego.
What relationships of yours need is to be brought to the cross?
Where I you die to self-centered pride, and be resurrected to other-centered love?
About this Plan

Follow along as we reflect on the idea that #KillingIt is "killing us." This series will be inspired by the first 2 chapters of the book of 1 Corinthians, looking at Paul's intro into how to live a life in the way of the cross. "For the message of the cross if foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God." 1 Corinthians 1:18
